When Should You Choose a 2 Color Logo?
The 2 Color Logo option is designed for artwork that depends on two separate colors for its identity. A company mark may combine two corporate colors, while a school crest, event logo or campaign graphic may use a second color to separate important elements. Instead of reducing the artwork to one color, this option keeps both colors in the printed presentation.
This style is particularly useful for organizations that want recognizable branding without moving to a more complex full-color design. Before ordering, simplify the artwork where possible so the two print colors remain clear and easy to distinguish against the selected bag color.
Promotional Bags for Events and Bulk Distribution
Non-woven tote bags work particularly well when many recipients need a useful item. They can hold event programs, brochures, notebooks, product samples, promotional materials and smaller giveaways, making them suitable for registration counters, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and corporate roadshows.
For events where a backpack-style format is easier to distribute or carry, custom drawstring bags provide another practical option. The tote format, however, keeps contents easy to access and provides a straightforward surface for displaying two-color branding.
Make Two Brand Colors Work Together
With two-color artwork, contrast matters. Both print colors should remain visible against the non-woven bag's base color. For example, two darker print colors may lose definition on a dark bag, while carefully selected contrasting colors can make individual parts of the logo easier to recognize.
Review artwork with the chosen bag color rather than treating them as separate decisions. Logos with gradients, photographs, numerous shades, or highly detailed illustrations may be better suited to full-color printing rather than being simplified into two solid colors.
2 Color vs 1 Color Logo Printing
A 1-color logo generally suits simple logos, text, event titles, and campaigns where one strong print color communicates everything required. Two-color printing is useful when removing the second color would noticeably change the artwork's appearance or recognition.
The decision should therefore be based primarily on the design, not simply on choosing more colors. If the logo can be represented clearly in one color, a simpler print may be sufficient. If two colors form an important part of the brand identity, this style provides the additional visual separation needed.
2 Color vs Full Color Artwork
Two-color and full-color printing solve different branding requirements. A two-color design keeps the visual treatment controlled and works well for logos, typography, symbols and relatively simple promotional graphics. Full-color artwork is more appropriate when the design contains multiple colors, illustrations, detailed graphics or other elements that cannot be accurately represented using only two print colors.
Choosing the right option before preparing final artwork helps avoid unnecessary redesigns later. For premium or retail-oriented applications where a different bag material is preferred, customers can compare the wider selection of custom printed bags in Malaysia.
Suitable Uses for Two-Color Non-Woven Bags
Companies can use these bags as conference packs containing schedules, brochures and stationery. Schools and universities can add institution colors for orientation programs, open days or student activities. Marketing teams can use two-color logos for roadshows, product sampling and awareness campaigns where branded bags are distributed to many participants.
They can also be combined with other custom corporate gifts to create event or welcome packs. Pens, notebooks, promotional merchandise or small gifts can be placed inside the tote, allowing the bag itself to become part of the branded presentation.
Non-Woven Tote Bag or Canvas Bag?
The best material depends on how you'll distribute and use the bag. Non-woven bags are lightweight and well suited to promotional campaigns, event packs, and larger distribution quantities. Canvas bags use a heavier woven fabric and suit projects that call for a more substantial reusable tote.
Customers comparing materials can review our canvas bag collection. For packaging-focused applications such as retail purchases, launches, or gift presentation, custom paper bags may provide a more appropriate structure and appearance.
Preparing Artwork for 2 Color Printing
Start with a clear logo file and identify exactly which two colors should appear in the finished design. Small text, very fine lines, and complicated details should be reviewed before production because the artwork needs to remain readable at the final print size.
Providing vector artwork is useful when available because logos and text can be resized cleanly. The artwork should also show which elements belong to each print color. A proof can then be reviewed before production so the logo position, scale and overall appearance can be checked against the selected bag.
Ordering for Your Malaysian Event or Promotion
Before requesting a quotation, prepare your required quantity, intended use, artwork and delivery deadline. These details make it easier to determine whether the 2 Color Logo option fits the project and whether the production schedule works.
RafflesTag Malaysia lists standard production for custom non-woven tote bags at around 12–15 business days after artwork approval, with rush production available from around 10 business days. Allow additional planning time when bags are required for a fixed exhibition, conference, school event or campaign date.
Frequently Asked Questions:
A reusable non-woven tote bag customized with artwork in two print colors. This option suits logos, text, symbols, and promotional graphics where two distinct colors are important to the design.
Choose two-color printing when your company logo, school emblem, campaign design or event artwork needs two separate colors to remain recognizable and visually consistent with the original branding.
Yes. You can customize the bag with a company logo or other suitable two-color promotional artwork. The design should be reviewed against the selected bag color to maintain good visibility.
RafflesTag Malaysia's non-woven tote bag range uses lightweight non-woven fabric. The material creates a reusable promotional bag suitable for events, corporate campaigns, schools, exhibitions and everyday carrying.
Non-woven tote bags are commonly used for brochures, documents, notebooks, event programs, product samples, merchandise and smaller promotional gifts. Select contents based on the chosen bag size and intended event.
Neither option is universally better. One-color printing suits simple artwork, while two-color printing is useful when a second color is important for brand recognition, visual separation or the intended appearance of the design.
Highly detailed artwork containing photographs, gradients or many shades may not suit a two-color treatment. In those cases, a full-color printing option may preserve the original artwork more accurately.
Yes. Two-color non-woven tote bags can be used for conferences, exhibitions, seminars, employee programs, roadshows, and promotional events where attendees need a practical bag for documents, gifts, or event materials.
