A Defined Middle-Weight V-Neck Option
A 230 GSM V-neck cotton T-shirt is best suited to buyers who have already decided that a basic lightweight tee is not the right fit for their project. Within RafflesTag Malaysia's cotton T-shirt range, the 230 GSM style sits between the listed 180 GSM and 260 GSM options. That position makes it useful when you want more fabric substance than the lighter style but do not need the heaviest option in the range.
The V-neck also creates a clear visual difference from the round-neck versions. For companies, schools, clubs and event teams, this gives procurement teams another way to separate staff groups, event roles or merchandise tiers without changing the core product category. The neckline can also suit brands that prefer a less conventional silhouette than a classic crew or round neck.
Choosing 230 GSM by Fabric Weight
GSM refers to grams per square meter, so the 230 GSM specification describes fabric weight rather than the physical weight of one finished shirt. For this product, the most useful comparison is within RafflesTag's own cotton range: 180 GSM is lighter, 230 GSM is the middle option, and 260 GSM is heavier.
This comparison helps buyers make a practical choice. If your priority is the lightest listed cotton option, the 180 GSM style may be more suitable. If you want the most substantial cotton option in this range, the 260 GSM style is the closer comparison. The 230 GSM V-neck is for projects where a middle position on fabric weight is preferred together with the V-neck cut.
Branding and Artwork for the V-Neck Layout
RafflesTag's cotton T-shirt page confirms custom logo, text, name and artwork printing across the cotton range. For a V-neck shirt, artwork planning should consider the open neckline before final placement is approved. A centered front design may need to sit slightly lower than it would on a round-neck tee so the graphic does not visually crowd the V shape.
Small left-chest logos, event names, team identifiers and larger front or back artwork can all be discussed during artwork preparation. The final artwork should be checked for scale, placement and readability on the selected shirt size mix before production starts. Buyers preparing a coordinated clothing order can also compare Dri-Fit Cloth when performance fabric is more important than cotton, or Corporate Jackets when an outer layer is required.
Where This Style Fits Best
The Cotton 230 GSM V-Neck can be considered for company apparel, event crews, clubs, schools, branded merchandise and promotional programs. Its main product-specific advantage is not simply that it is a cotton T-shirt; it combines a V-neck profile with the middle fabric weight in RafflesTag's 180/230/260 GSM cotton lineup.
For active or sports-led programs, a Sports Singlet may provide a more purpose-specific silhouette. For outdoor teams, roadshows or coordinated staff kits, custom Baseball Caps can be paired with branded shirts as a separate apparel item. These comparisons help buyers build an order around actual use instead of selecting every item from the same product type.
Ordering and Production Planning
Before requesting production, confirm the quantity, intended use, preferred shirt color, artwork, print position and required delivery date. The RafflesTag cotton T-shirt page states that custom cotton T-shirts usually take around 15 business days for standard production after artwork approval, with rush production available from around 10 business days. Because lead time begins after artwork approval, sending complete artwork and clear placement instructions can reduce avoidable back-and-forth.
If you are still comparing garment categories, the broader Apparel collection can help you review cotton T-shirts alongside other branded clothing options. Buyers planning a wider promotional campaign can also review RafflesTag Malaysia's Corporate Gifts range to coordinate apparel with other branded items.
Why Choose the 230 GSM V-Neck Style
The strongest reason to choose this style is its specific balance within the cotton lineup: a 230 GSM fabric weight paired with a V-neck. It is neither the lightest nor the heaviest cotton T-shirt listed by RafflesTag, so it gives buyers a defined middle option instead of forcing a choice at either end of the range.
For quotation and artwork review, prepare your logo or design, estimated quantity, preferred color, size requirements and target date. RafflesTag can then confirm the available ordering options for the selected Cotton 230 GSM V-Neck and help move the approved artwork into production.
Frequently Asked Questions:
230 GSM means the fabric is specified at 230 grams per square meter. It describes fabric weight, not the finished weight of one shirt. Within RafflesTag's cotton range, it sits between the listed 180 GSM and 260 GSM options.
Yes. Based on the listed fabric weights, 230 GSM is heavier than 180 GSM. Buyers who want a more substantial cotton option than the 180 GSM style can consider this version before moving to the heavier 260 GSM choice.
Both styles use the same listed 230 GSM fabric weight, but the neckline is different. This product uses a V-neck, while the sibling style uses a round neck, so the choice mainly depends on the preferred neckline and visual appearance.
Yes. RafflesTag's cotton T-shirt range supports custom logo, text, name and artwork printing. Final print placement and artwork scale should be confirmed during artwork approval, especially around the open V-neck area.
RafflesTag states that custom cotton T-shirts usually take around 15 business days for standard production after artwork approval. Rush production is available from around 10 business days, subject to the order and production schedule.
The cotton T-shirt ordering page shows multiple color choices, but availability can depend on the selected style and order option. Confirm the required color for the 230 GSM V-neck when requesting your quotation or placing the order.
